The Commission has today repealed Regulation (EC) 1881/2006 and replaced it with Regulation (EU) 2023/915 on maximum levels for certain contaminants in food. Commission Regulation (EC) 1881/2006 sets maximum levels for certain contaminants in food. It enters into force 20 days from its publication date of 5 May 2023. 

There new Regulation does not contain any changes to the levels listed in the latest amendment of Regulation 1881/2006.
